System power supply comes mainly from the national grid, and supplemented by a number of some small-scale hydropower stations. Among them, the electricity distribution stations in Cao Bang city and Quang Uyen district provide electricity for North and Northeast districts of the Province station power distribution center for northern and northeastern districts of the province, including the EZ. |

- Till now, all the communes and towns (even in the communes that have border gate) in the area have mobile coverage (Viettel, VNPT, Mobiphone, Vietnammobile) and optical cable network is also available. |
Water service |
- Ta Lung EZ is now constructing 3 water supply projects with total water capacity of about 756m3 / day and night. Currently, water is pumped up to the a treatment tank in Po Kham Hill, then following the pipes to consumption places.
Domestic wastewater is mainly organic sewage. The water drainage system is designed also for rain drainage.
- At Soc Giang border gate area: The water is taken from Lenin streams, then having pretreatment in water treatment station. The water here is distributed to the whole town.
Domestic wastewater and rain are drained by the sewers system under the road pavement.

- Customs: The custom branch departments locate in all 3 border-gate economic zones.

Training School |
- Schools and training centers: By the end of 2011 there are 214 schools including primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in EZ’s communes. The whole Province have got 26 vocational training units, 1 vocational high school, 15 training center and 10 other institution related to vocational training activities.
The vocational training fields including: Cultivation, repairing agricultural machinery, cattle-breeding, veterinary, civil electric repair, computer science, welding, automotive technology, operation of electrical equipment , operation of construction equipment, mechanics etc. At the end of 2010, a number of new training institutions were established in the EZ.

- Traveling - tourism - accommodation (hotels, restaurants): The infrastructure is being completed. Especially in areas of Ta Lung border economic zone, a lot of hotels, restaurants have been put into use.
- Security facility: There are border security force posts in communes of the EZ, as well as police, militias’ force in communes and districts.
- Hospitals: There are enough medical facilities such as clinics and hospitals. According to statistical figures, at the end of 2011, the EZ has 93 health care units including 7 district level general hospitals (each district has 1 general hospital), 99 commune level health care centers and 11 clinics.
